Feature Request: Ability to sort Up Next queue by release date

I know my vote was already counted, but just adding that I listen to a lot of narrative podcasts (real play DnD, etc), which only make sense to listen to in chronological order. For the third time this year I’ve had a major sync issue requiring me to go back and manually re-add episodes to up next that got removed for some reason, and manually sort them by date again. This will be less of an issue once my backlog gets smaller again, but being a month or two behind is making this come up more frequently

Thanks for sharing your use case, this will help us a lot to fine tune the implementation once we get to implement this. We definitely have this feature in our radar.

Quite like the app generally but for me this feature would make the app a lot more usable as I’m catching up on several podcasts with many episodes and I’d like to play them back in release order but also alternate between the different podcasts. Sorting them manually in the up next queue is very time consuming, especially as the screen scrolls too fast once the queue becomes long and it’s quite difficult to not scroll past the right spot in the queue. Would be even more amazing if there was both the ability to manually resort the download queue as well as an option to turn on automatic resorting of the queue whenever new episodes are added (either manually or automatically by the auto-add feature)! -
