Feature Request: automatic insert below…

I really like Pocket Casts, but I miss a small feature to align manual structuring and automatic additions of episodes to the playlist.
I would like to see a seperator below which the automatic added episodes will be inserted.
if I would pull an episode above this seperator, it will stay there and will be player next.
also it would be perfect if it would be configurable if the “pinned” episodes count to the max count of episodes in the playlist or not.

Hi there, @reallyhappyaa78590b7e! Thank you for your feedback about playlist. Just to make sure I understand, are you referring to the lists created with Episode Filters?
If so, I’ve added your vote to a feature request to add more options to reorder episodes in filters. If you meant something else let me know so I can add this request in the correct place.

My “pain” atm is, that if you have set up automatic addition of new episodes to the playlist as *next one” the manual sorting of the playlist will get messed up. As new episodes will be placed in front of e.g. manual selected episodes.
think about a podcast with 3 or 4 episodes, which you want to hear one after thr other.
But nonetherless newly automaticly added entries will be sitting in #1.

I have this feature all mapped out in my mind: multiple insert points, labelled by a letter. Insert Above Point ‘C’ would make point C move down as successive episodes are added, while Insert Below Point ‘C’ would keep it where it is. However, this could be a little confusing.
Example: Episodes 1 is released, then episode 2, then episode 3. Insert Below would mean your Up Next queue would contain episodes 3, 2, 1. This is good for when you want to listen to the newest and then work your way to older episodes. Insert Above would mean your Up Next queue would contain episodes 1, 2, 3. This is good for when you get episodes that chain together.
I had a vision of writing it all, then sending a pull request, but first I would need to accommodate for different screen sizes(including resizing), accessibility, different platforms(Android, iOS, web, etc), documetation and help files, logging, and more.
