Feature Request – autoplay podcast from oldest to newest

There are a few podcasts out there, with an enormous number of episodes, like Top Flight TIme Machine. Over 1200 episodes.
It is mind-numbingly tedious and error-prone, to go to the podcast and add episodes the Up Next Queue. And if i do add 10 or 20 to the up next queue, then these episodes are then ahead of any new episodes that then come in for other podcasts.
Please provide a simple and bulletproof method to just queue episodes from a podcast automatically, one by one, from oldest to newest.
And if possible would be great if it worked nicely with other autoqueuing features like “Auto add to Up Next” – eg so i can listen to all eps from a podcast, from oldest to newest, BUT, if the old episodes are queued one at a time, as each episode is finished – then this would allow brand new episodes from other podcasts to insert themselves into the top of the Up Next queue and get listened to quickly.
I have been using Pocket Casts for a longtime, and to listen to a lot of stuff, and Pocket Casts is great but if you can add this one feature, it will then be the most awesome super-powrful & supreme podcast app in the history of the universe.
C’mon guise you can do it.

Doing that one at a time is definitely not fun. Have you tried using the multi-select functionality to add episodes to your Up Next queue?
From the podcast screen, you can enter multi-select mode by long-pressing on an episode. You can then select as many episodes as you want and then add them all to the top or bottom of your Up Next queue.
They’ll be added to your Up Next queue in the order they are listed on the podcast screen, so if you want the episodes added to your Up Next queue with the oldest at the top, then just make sure that you have the episodes sorted that way on the podcast screen before you use multi-select to add them to your Up Next queue.
And if i do add 10 or 20 to the up next queue, then these episodes are then ahead of any new episodes that then come in for other podcasts….

I would advise to change this feature. Autoplay should play podcast from older to newer not apposite. Similar to Google podcast.
please consider to change this feature.

I found an existing feature request for this and I have added all of the above feedback to it.

Until a few weeks ago it played from oldest to newest. Did something change? I find myself having to manually scroll through all of the episodes to the “oldest”, then playing it

@chaosoriginal3d355ba87d Can you let us know if you’re on Android, iOS, or web? Which version of the app are you using?
In addition, do you have Autoplay enabled from Profile > Settings (gear icon) > General > Autoplay (which only takes effect if your Up Next queue is empty), and is it playing from a podcast’s page? If so, how are the episodes on that podcast’s page sorted?
