Feature request – “hey siri, play podcasts” on Apple Watch

  This phrase works great directly on the phone or through CarPlay, but when I ask my watch, it says that I’ll need an app to do that… even though the PC app is on my watch already.

  hi @mikerockwell was this ever solved? I’m a new user and have had similar issues with other apps such as Spotify – ie you are listening to PC through your I phone, but want to control playback through Siri on a paired Apple Watch. This is to include requests to play specific episodes. Grateful for an indication of what the proper Siri request should be to achieve this. Thanks.

  Thanks for checking in! There’s no news to share on this yet — it’s still on our list of enhancement requests. We know how useful it would be to control playback via Siri on Apple Watch, including playing specific episodes, and we’re keeping it in mind as we plan future improvements.
