Feature Request: Hide Played Podcasts

    Hello, I am sure this is a feature request you have gotten before. This app is almost perfect but the option to hide played podcasts is a feature that is sorely missing. I know you can sort by episode release date, but the issue is the podcast you are playing will not be shown at the top of the list. I know this sounds nit picky, but it is no fun to have to scroll down and find the podcast you want to listen to. I hope this will be an added feature soon! Thank you!

    Hi, @itsalwaysblue59! Could you share where it is that you are viewing the podcasts?

    Are you referring to the podcast page with the list of episodes for that specific show?
    If so, you can tap on “Hide Archive” to hide episodes that have been marked as played. If an episode is still being played (not finished), you will see it in the episode list with the time left under the episode title.

    If you are using the Playlists, and have a Smart Playlist, check the Smart rules for the Episode status. From there you can select Unplayed, In Progress, and Played. This option is not available in the manual Playlists.

    Sorry, I should have made it more clear. When looking at my podcasts on the main podcasts page I would like a feature where you can hide the whole podcast once there are no remaining episodes. So for example once I have listened to the entire podcast it won’t show up on the main podcasts page until a new episode is released.

    For example on a few apps you can go to a view section and “hide empty podcasts”. That way there won’t be so much clutter on your podcast page. Hiding played podcast episodes works perfectly, but unfortunately that isn’t what I am requesting.
