Feature Request: Personal “Notes” field on episodes

Just like it’s nice to bookmark specific moments with a short label, it would be nice to be able to write a (searchable!) note of a few hundred characters on an episode so we can remind ourselves of elements of the epsiode that don’t need to be tied to a specific timestamp. (Like how bookmarking systems like Raindrop allow us to save a personal note with a URL)

To clarify, I’m not asking for this to be an enhancement of the Bookmarks feature, but to be its own thing that sits alongside bookmarks. The idea is that I could add a note to an episode without needing to bookmark a specific moment. Or maybe both items (“Notes” and “Timestamps”?) could be grouped together as Bookmarks

One way to partially cover this is to be able to ‘Star’ and episode and give it a filename/description/comment. At the moment when I go back to something i’ve ‘Starred’, I may not remember while I saved it, so if a comment could be added that would be great.

@tsgcn, I’ve got another request open at the URL below to make “Stars” go further, as a sort of “tag icon”. That way instead of having a single Star for marking episodes, we could make our own (or choose from a reasonable list) like “
Share with my partner”, “
Useful for research”, “
Cozy”, “
