Feature request: Playlists

+1 for playlists please.
I would use this to manage multiple queues for different contexts / topics (i.e. add episodes to “Up Next” for immediate listening and to various playlists for listening at some other time/place).
I would also like an option for “Auto Archive” to not include anything in a playlist.
There is currently no workaround so I am forced to use another podcast app just to track the “play later” episodes.

I’d definitely like to be able to create playlists. In my case, I’m subscribed to some music podcasts that I like to listen repeatedly, like a list of favorite albums. I also listen to podcasts that help me sleep that I like to listen over and over again. So it makes sense to be able to create playlists with them for easy access.

Currently considering switching podcast apps and a friend recommended Pocketcasts. Does this feature exist yet? Given that the thread is still receiving votes, I suspect not…

+1 , would be nice to bunch together miniseries from podcasts that don’t support “season” metadata.
That, or an extension to “Group by Season” that lets me manually create seasons/series within podcasts that don’t support it -

+1! I’ve been using Pocket Casts for years and have searched for this feature a few times. It’s the only essential thing I feel is missing from the app.

+1. Why is this taking so long? I’m puzzled why a Ratings feature [which seems redundant given the vast amount of lists of great podcasts available in ChatGPT or search] gets worked when a feature that actually provides incremental functionality lies languishing for years.

+1 – this feature will be a huge bonus.
Included with this the ability to name the playlists and the ability to assign auto downloads to different play lists.
i like to separate my play lists for different things like, PG rated, news and events etc.
