I’ve missed playlists ever since they were removed and they are really useful once my unlistened list gets out of hand (like now)
I’d upgrade to plus to have playlists

+1. There being no way to keep “listen to later” episodes separate from your starred episodes is really anoying.

I need to get my podcast-episodes seperated by topics but also in a specific order. For example work-related, for the kids and family and the comedy-stuff.

May I ask what are the chances to get that feature? Is it “one of the three next to implement” or more on the “we will see”-list?

Another vote from this long time Plus subscriber.
I’ve got a few podcasts that bring out “series” of interviews and I’d love to be able to make a playlist for each so I can easily go between them. I can sort of fudge it with filters and starring, but that only lets me make one “playlist” for each podcast. It really seems like an obvious missing feature to be able to make multiple ones per podcast.

Adding another vote to this feature! I’ve been a long-time paid subscriber, but have started using other podcast apps (Overcast in particular) to manage and listen to playlists. This is the one feature that could lead to me permanently moving to Overcast and unsubscribing to Pocket Casts, even though I think Pocket Casts is the superior app overall – but without playlists, it’s just incomplete.

+1 to this; it’s especially useful when if have patreon feeds that are overloaded with multiple different shows from the same creators, and I want to pick through one show or another; filters don’t cover this
