Feature request: Playlists
-
@gabbyiverson18 thanks for your detailed feedback. It is certainly something we are investigating. We hope to have this as a feature in our app in the future :)

+1 for this feature. Sometimes I’m listening for fun, sometimes for work, and often for classes. My Up Next list is very unwieldy as I’m often juggling a few different work streams. It would be really helpful to be able to queue up what’s next in different playlists for each context I use the app for.

I spent like 5 min looking for this thinking I must be crazy for not being able to find it… kinda thought playlists would be table stakes for an audio app… please add my vote to this feature.

@staff-fred oh I’d misinterpreted ‘added’ as, the feature had been added! 🤦♂️ But thanks for adding vote…

+1 for this feature. I am learning a new language, and it would be super helpful to be able to partition my subscriptions based on language.

I’m another one who would really like to see playlists made available. I’d like to be able to mix podcasts from different shows together. I’ve seen channel playlists, but I want something that will allow me to combine different specific episodes into 1 playlist.

This would fundamentally change the way I use Pocket Casts for the better. I hope that it gets implemented soon!

+1
There are topics that I have multiple episodes from multiple podcasts that deal with those topics, so when I want to refresh my memory I listen to the relevant list of episodes. It would be great to maintain playlists for these, rather than to scan through all the episodes lists to collect them anew every time.
Thanks!

+1 vote for multiple playlists or up-next queues. Would be such a huge feature. I find the standard Up Next queue just gets overwhelmed, long and disorganised as a I chop between multiple episodes, and I also miss episodes that I want to listen to as new stuff comes out and I’m subscribed to a lot of pod. I want a way to maintain a “to listen” list of episodes. I can’t use Star feature for this because I use that for historical favourites.
