Feature request: Profanity Filter

Hi, I love the Pocket Casts player for my iPhone – it’s great! I’ve used the native apple podcast player and Stitcher extensively, but Pocket Casts is superior. I would love a profanity filter since many podcasts have strong language which I would prefer not to hear and it would make those podcasts safe to listen to with my children.

This is insane. Why do you want your children to live in a dreamworld? If the podcast you’re listening to, with your children, contains profanity, then why not just do your job as a parent and use it as an opportunity to educate your children about reality, and the existence of profanity?

@homunculoid I appreciate that this isn’t a feature that all users would want to see added to our apps. And while it has been filed as a feature request, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be something that we pursue.
However, I ask that you please keep a respectful tone with everyone here on the forum and stay on topic to Pocket Casts concerns. There are many ideas on how to parent children, but this forum isn’t the best place to discuss those.
