Feature request: remember playback speed for each podcast

I listen to different podcasts at different speeds, for instance conversational podcasts in English at 1.3x and German podcasts to help my learning at 1x. It would be useful for the player to automatically remember what speed I play a specific podcast at and automatically set this when that podcasts starts, especially in a queue so that I don’t have to adjust it when the episode changes.

The ability to set a per-podcast playback speed already exists in Pocket Casts (it’s not automatic, you’ll have to do it for each one), just do the following steps:
- Open the feed of the podcast whose playback speed you’d like to set (e.g., one of your German ones)
- Click on the Gear icon above and to the right of the episode list, to the right of the podcast artwork. Now you’re in “Podcast Settings”
- Click on “Playback Effects” to open that submenu
- Activate “Custom For This Podcast”
- From here you can set the play speed and other “time saving” settings. You can leave it at 1x or change it; from here on out, this podcast will play at the desired setting.
As long as “Custom For This Podcast” is enabled, your playback settings for this podcast will be saved independently from your standard playback settings; you can change them while listening, too, so if you increase this pocast to 1.3 in the future, its episodes will play at 1.3 regardless of your standard settings. You can activate this for as many podcasts as you’d like; if you activate it on all of them, then it will be have the way you’d like, where each podcast series remembers the playback speed you’ve assigned it.
