Feature request: Show notes timestamps to bookmarks

There are other podcast apps that can do this, I’m hoping Pocket Casts can do so also, figure it can’t hurt to ask. A lot of podcasts, rather than actually making real chapters, just stick timestamps in the show notes. Sometimes they’re formatted properly in RSS, sometimes not. Making them tappable is one thing, if you have access to the web player or client, but if using CarPlay or Android Auto they’re inaccessible. Converting them to bookmarks would be a great help to those of us who listen while driving a lot, and would certainly be worth paying for as part of the bookmarks function, at least in my mind.

At the moment, you are correct that this depends on the markup used in the Show Notes. That said, I have added a feature request to have this improved so that regular timestamps without any markup can be clickable too.
If we get more requests for such a feature, it will be considered sooner. If others are interested in such a feature, please comment with a +1
In the meantime, it would be a good idea to ask the authors of the podcasts to use better markup for the timestamps
