-
Yes it’s should also have transcript feature as like this site youtubetotranscript.net which is very helpful student like us…

I’ve been a longtime user of Pocketcasts. I’ve been checking out Snipd for the last two years, and I love its AI transcript, chapters, and snipping capability. However, their app does not compare to Pocketcasts. I am torn between the two apps. Both apps have great features, but I would love AI transcripts, chapters, and notes to be added to Pocketcasts. I don’t mind paying for the extra features. It would be an added benefit to an already great app.
One other idea would be to add an option to filters to identify podcasts with exiswting chapters and transcripts.

Thanks for the suggestion, @noeldagle! I’ve also made sure to record your feedback in our internal list of feature requests.

Yes please! Even if they’re bad transcripts (like YouTube’s automatic captions) it’s still more useful than not having anything if the creator doesn’t include official transcriptions. Important for accessibility and also for searchability!

Captions would be a great help to me, even if there was a way to highlight the words on a transcript as they’re said, similar to Spotify.

@niallasd Pocket Casts already supports transcripts—both from podcasts that use the
<podcast:transcript>tag and AI-generated transcripts. If you’re interested, we have more information on that here:
