General refresh failed but single feed refresh worked

I’ve been using the app without issues for years, but today it suddenly stopped being able to refresh and fetch new episodes. When I go to the profile page and try a general refresh of all feeds, I get the error “Refresh failed.” However, if I open an individual podcast feed and refresh from there, it does work—though quite slowly.
Could you help me understand what kind of problem this might be, and what steps I can take to resolve it? I’d really like to avoid doing a full reset, since my New Releases list contains thousands of episodes and I don’t have an easy way to export or save that.

Same experience here.
General refresh does nothing. No new episodes for any podcast I subscribe to since yesterday 8/21. Same message, “refresh failed”.
However if I go to the individual podcast’s profile and refresh the episode list there new episodes appear.
I subscribe to a very long list of podcasts, have been a PocketCasts user going back to before NPR once owned it and rely upon this app daily. It’s been a reliable workhorse. This is the first significant hiccup I have ever experienced.

I should add that sometimes I get a “refresh complete” when I can verify that message is in error by again going to the podcast feed/profile within Pocket Casts and see new episodes that are not showing up when I perform a refresh.

Same here. Individual refresh seems to work, and the “New Releases” is up to do through the Web player, but not through iOS app.
