“Hours Played” Inaccurate

My “Hours Played” number is much lower than the actual amount of hours I have listened to podcasts. Even when I click through my 2022 review, you can see listened hours reported that exceed my total “Hours Played”. Also by viewing my listening history, you can see that the hours listened should be much higher. How can I fix this?

It sounds like you are referring to our Year In Review feature that was removed in January and should be back at the end of the year. Can you please ensure your Pocket Casts app is up to date?
That said, our Year In Review feature made use of the ‘Listening History’, so if you cleared your listening history at any point, it would have resulted in skewed stats. It also did not take into account episodes that you manually marked as played.
We hope to make some improvements to this feature when it relaunches :)
