How to delete extra app icons?

I went into settings and tried to switch to a different app icon. I tried a couple of the different colors, but they all show up looking like the regular red and white icon– and now I have 4 of the same red app icon in my app list. How do I remove the extras without uninstalling and reinstalling the app and losing my already-paid-for old patreon episodes I haven’t listened to yet?

On Android, switching to a non-default app icon will result in there being two icons in your app drawer. This behavior is expected because adding alternate icons in Android currently requires creating a new one.
If you’d like to remove the additional icons, you can do so by long pressing on the additional icons from the app drawer.
In terms of all the additional icons having the same look as the default, that isn’t expected. Could you let us know what version of Android you’re using, what version of Pocket Casts you’re using, and what launcher you use on your device — if it’s not the default one?
