How to get Pocket Casts to help with getting my podcast to the subscribers

    Hi people that knows Pocket Casts

    I have the problem that I can’t get through to Pocket Cats. Any idea about how to get help?

    I have done as they write on their For podcasters page – send a mail to (email visible only to moderators and staff). Here is the mail I wrote:

    Hi Pocket Casts

    I have a podcast called Dagens vigtigste that recently changed name from Hvad sker der?

    When that happened every other podcast app just shifted the feed and continued to deliver the episodes to the subscribers. But not Pocket Casts my listeners tell me. Is there any way you can help me to get it up and running again for the users that is al ready subscriibing?

    Now after this email I get an automated response saying they will only reply if I am a paying customer of the app. But I have no intention to subscribe to an app I don’t use in order for them to be able to provide a decent service for their users.

    And right now the only thing I can say to my subscribers on Pocket Casts: Use another app. So I am loosing 5 percent of my listeners and right now my way of bringing them back is to scratch Pocket Casts from my recommended apps and advise against all use.

    I don’t feel like that is the right way to go, for either me or Pocket Casts. But they are not answering my follow up emails.

    Any iidea about how to get a response from them? Or even get their service fixed?

    It is named Dagens vigtigste - gratis nyheder på max 10 minutter in the RSS Feed you shared. If this is wrong, please make sure to update it in the RSS Feed or share with us the correct RSS Feed :)

    Thank you for the answer but unfortunately it does not.

    Because apparently the old link that everybody has subscribed to does not get updated anymore: https://pca.st/podcast/0c9f8ed0-24cb-013b-ef4f-0acc26574db2
    Ans you have then created a new one link none of the old subscribers are getting the new episodes: https://pca.st/podcast/88f5a250-2538-013b-ef51-0acc26574db2

    Can we do something for just getting the old link back into working, so it will update all the new episodes? And then scratch the new one you created?

    It looks like your new feed was submitted as a separate listing, so your podcast had duplicate listings on our platform. We’re now working on remedying the duplicate.

    This way, your subscribers should now be getting your latest episodes on Pocket Casts.
