How to restore lifetime access after subscription downgrade (iOS / web)

hi everyone
Is there any sort of hidden menu in iOS that offers a “restore purchases” button? I previously had the lifetime “Plus” as a user who paid for the ios app (as well as web access) but have been downgraded to “free”.
A month ago I upgraded to Patron to try bookmarks, but cancelled the sub. Yesterday I opened the app to see a notice about my account being downgraded back to free. I see no option to restore my previous account state. I’ve also lost my web access.
surely someone else has hit this condition I hope!

@deathforthelight you should also email support. I just posted here in case there’s a known fix via secret menu or something

Just chiming in to say I’m in the same boat, and also haven’t heard back from support yet.
I wasn’t even particularly interested in the new features – just wanted to throw a few bucks towards the development of the app. Might end up making me move on, sadly!

support got back to me and reinstated my lifetime + this morning so I’m sure a fix is on the way soon for all.

Ah, that’s great news. Hopefully it gets a permanent fix at some stage – I’d still sub for the odd month here and there if so

@c9wct6jhns It looks like you signed up for a forum account with an email address from Apple’s Private Relay service. So, please respond to my email with the email address you used for your Pocket Casts account.

Do you happen to know if the team will be updating the pocketcasts account system to automatically support downgrades from Patron tier back to lifetime (for eligible accounts)? I’m hoping to still be able to switch account tiers (to Patron and back) in the future without having to write in.

out of curiosity, are downgrades now supported? For example, if I upgrade to patron, would I need to contact support again if I ever were to cancel patron tier?
