I Keep Getting Signed Out

    Until recently, I have only used Pocket Casts on my iPad. A few days ago, I started using it on my iPhone, and I’ve been having an issue.

    I am on a trip, and I have gone on long stretches without Wi-Fi. On several occasions when connecting to or disconnecting from Wi-Fi after a period of being offline, I get signed out. I am listening as usually, and then I get a popup asking me to sign in. This is especially problematic when the popup appears right after I have disconnected from Wi-Fi and won’t have it again for a while. I am using the TestFlight version 7.88.0.2. I am updating to 7.88.0.3, so I’ll see if the issue persists.

  • Just to help us narrow this down, can you let us know if you ever did one of the following prior to the issue starting?

    • Changed your Pocket Casts password on one device without logging out and back in on your other devices
    • Restored your iPhone from a backup

    The later is true, but the former isn’t. I can also verify that the issue persists in 7.88.0.3. This time, however, it was after being connected to Wi-Fi for over eight hours. Also, in case it matters, all other signed-in devices are shut down.

  • We may need some app logs to dig into this issue a bit further. Would you be able to send those along to us through the app?
