Increased price?

I was a subscriber to Pocket Casts plus but then got a notification in the Google Play store that there was a price increase to $39.99. I forgot to do anything about it but I came across a post stating that the price increase was only supposed to be for new subscribers. I’ve been a subscriber for awhile so there must have been a mistake in increasing the price for me. At this point my subscription has lapsed since I didn’t accept the increased price in the play store. Is this fixable?
