[iOS] App freezing after marking episode as played

  I am experiencing a bug where Pocket Casts freezes after selecting “Mark episode as played”. Navigation through the podcast library does not work when this occurs. This occurs when selecting mark episode as played on multiple podcasts.
  
  If I am playing episode when this occurs the episode continues and the episode controls (play/pause) are still responsive. Navigation through the podcast library or any of the bottom row of controls (Podcasts/Filters/Discover/Up Next/Profile) are non-responsive and the app must be closed/reopened in order for them to work again. This is persisted through multiple versions of the app and iOS. I have tried clearing the storage for Pocket Casts and uninstalling/reinstalling it with no success.

  iOS version: 18.3.2
  Pocket Casts version: 7.8.8 (7.88.0.5)
  iPhone 12 Pro Max with ~45GB free storage

  Can you please confirm if the issue persists on v7.89 which was released 2 days ago? We fixed a couple of bugs in there so please let me know if the issue persists or not.

  Yes, I updated and am able to reproduce the issue on version 7.89.1 (7.89.1.0).
