iOS Widget Problems

  The widgets I had out on my phone all turned blank (white in light mode and black in dark mode). I can no longer add a new widget. On a different phone I’m unable to add a widget. It’s as though the feature was disabled.

  This happened after updating to version 7.41. I’m running iOS version 16.5.1 on an iPhone 12 Pro Max.

  They’re working again. Strange. Two days off and then all of the sudden they’re back.

  Strange, indeed! But glad the widgets are working for you again.

  For anyone else who might run into a similar issue, please try removing the widgets and re-adding them to see if it makes a difference.

  For what it’s worth, while this was happening I tried removing the widget and the option to add the widget was missing from the list of available widgets and didn’t appear in the widget search. I tried the same thing on my partner’s phone, which didn’t have any widgets, and they also couldn’t add a widget.
  
  I don’t know what happened, but I’m glad everything is working again. :)
