iOS widgets just a white box with “tinted” homescreen

  I’m running iOS 18.1 latest beta and have problem with the widgets.

  The widget on my Home Screen is just a solid white box. It appears to work when I press where the play button would be, but it is solid white.

  After troubleshooting it appears that it is because I have customized my Home Screen to be “tinted”. If I choose any of the other options, light/dark/auto the widget corrects itself.

  I’m not sure if this is an iOS 18.1 beta issue or an issue which can be replicated on 18.0 (I do not have a device to test). Perhaps someone can check?

  I have the latest version of the app. I also have tried removing and re-adding the widget with no luck. All 8 or so in the list are white boxes in the picker.

  Sorry, only thing to add. This just started in the last few days. I’m not sure if that aligns with an app update or a iOS update as I can’t remember the dates exactly.
