Issue – Receiving Duplicate and Identical TESTFLIGHT Pocket Casts Updates

Dear Pocket Casts Support Team,
I am writing to address a issue I’ve been facing with the TESTFLIGHT updates for the Pocket Casts app.
For the past week, I have been consistently receiving multiple TESTFLIGHT updates for Pocket Casts. What’s more confusing is that these updates are not only duplicates of each other, but they are also identical down to the build numbers and the “What to Test” information.
Given that the updates are exactly the same, including the build numbers and testing instructions, I suspect there might be a technical glitch or misconfiguration causing this issue. I am invested in helping Pocket Casts improve, but this situation hinders my ability to provide valuable feedback effectively.

We have been publishing more TestFlight betas than we typically do as we work on bugs in the recent builds. And when there aren’t any user-facing changes, we don’t usually make any adjustments to the release notes.
But you mentioned that you’ve receive multiple updates from TestFlight with the same build number, are you seeing these as push notifications from the TestFlight app or are you seeing these as email notifications?

We haven’t published a new build to TestFlight in the past five days, have you continued to receive email notifications at all? When you received the email notifications, were they for version 7.45? And do you remember how many email notifications you received for it?
We’ve had four builds of that version, although all of those had different build numbers, did you receive more email notifications for that version of the app?
I will note, if you’d prefer to disable email notifications from TestFlight, you can tap on the app from the TestFlight app list, tap on “Notifications”, and you can disable Email Notifications, Push Notifications, or both.

The emails themselves come from TestFlight. You can disable these notifications via the TestFlight app > Pocket Casts > Notifications, and then disable Email Notifications.
