Issues with my Podcast series not uploading properly.

    Hello everyone,

    I’ve recently created a website dedicated to the CapCut video editor, aimed at helping fellow creators by offering helpful tips, in-depth tutorials, and valuable resources. As part of this initiative, I recorded a podcast where I interviewed experienced video creators who shared their insights and personal experiences using CapCut.

    I’ve hosted the podcast recording directly on my website and also submitted the RSS feed to Pocket Casts. However, I’m currently facing several issues that I’d like help resolving:

    1. The podcast feed is not updating properly– Even after uploading new episodes and confirming that the RSS feed is valid, Pocket Casts doesn’t reflect the latest changes or new content.
    2. Episodes are not playing smoothly– Some users have reported buffering, playback errors, or failure to load the podcast at all.
    3. Podcast download issue – I’m using the podcast mobile app, and all the feeds are accessible to me. But some listeners are reporting to me that they are not able to download it on their mobile phone.
    4. Audio snippets not appearing– Some of my recorded tutorials are also lacking audio snippets. but Pocket Casts doesn’t seem to find anything. It could just be my fault (XML format, etc.), but I’d like to know if this even can work before I continue troubleshooting.

    I’d greatly appreciate any guidance or solutions from those who have experience with podcast distribution, especially when using self-hosted RSS feeds with Pocket Casts, here is my website http://www.capcutapkofficial.com where I’m forming a community and placing all the tutorials, guides and of course recording the podcast.

  • Hi there! To help us troubleshoot this further could you share the link to your podcast on Pocket Casts, or the Apple Podcast link (if it’s listed there)? You can also share the RSS feed URL if you don’t have the share link yet.

    This sounds like it could be an issue with the podcast hosting setup. (For example, issues related to server speed or bandwidth). We’re not able to provide support for podcast hosting. But, we can check if the RSS feed is in our system, and if there is anything happening on our end that may be affecting playback.
