I purchased Pocket Casts years ago before this whole subscription thing, does my purchase still stand? Shouldn’t those who supported you in the beginning automatically be Plus users?

In 2019, we switched from having each app be its own purchase to offering the iOS and Android apps for free. Access to the web and desktop apps was then limited to those with a Pocket Casts Plus subscription.
Since the web app used to be a one-time purchase and we were moving it to a subscription, we then gave a lifetime Plus membership to those who had previously purchased the web app:
