Limit Podcast with (very) regular updates

I like listening to the 5 minute BBC News update but since they release one every hour, it clogs the New Releases with too many instances. Is there a way to limit that?

If you navigate to the Podcasts tab, tap on the podcast you’d like to adjust, then tap on the gear icon you’ll have access to settings that are specific to that podcast.
From there, you can tap in to the Auto Archive settings and enable “Custom For This Podcast”. You’ll see an option to set an “Episode Limit” so that you’ll only keep the most recent episodes.
