Lost premium lifetime tier?

    I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing regarding my Pocket Casts lifetime subscription and a situation I’m currently facing.

    Some time ago, I purchased a lifetime subscription for my account. However, due to an intense period of exam preparation, I made the decision to delete that account to maintain my focus on studies.
    Now that my exams are completed, I’ve created a new account and would very much like to regain the benefits of the lifetime subscription. I understand this option may not be currently available, but I want to express that I’m more than willing to pay for it again if necessary.

    Pocket Casts has now again become an integral part of my daily routine, and I’ve greatly enjoyed using your service. I would love to continue using it with all the benefits of a lifetime subscription.

    I should mention that I’ve already sent an email to support regarding this matter but haven’t received a response yet. I’m hoping you might be able to assist me or direct me to the appropriate channel for resolving this.

    Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and hopefully finding a solution that allows me to continue enjoying Pocket Casts to its fullest.

  • Hi Edmund! To clear up any confusion, in 2019 we switched from having each app be its own purchase to offering the iOS and Android apps for free.

    Since the web app used to be a one-time purchase made from our site and we were moving it to a subscription, we gave a lifetime subscription to those who had previously purchased the web app.

    Did you previously purchase the web app? If so, please let us know! I’m not seeing a web or desktop app purchase under your email address.
