Manual episode download issue

  I am using v.7.92 (9352) on Android 14 and I noticed manual download button is not working correctly, if I tap on it, it will start to download but the progress percentage is stuck at 0% until its complete, if I tap on it twice (to stop the transfer) it will be stuck at 0% and “Downloading” forever. I tried to clear Download cache and restart the app, but it did not help. This control is mostly unresponsive for some reason.

  I am having the exact same issue on Android 16 on Pixel 6 Pro.

  Furthermore, the Downloads section of the app is also not functioning as intended. In addition to showing downloaded episodes, it is also showing recently played episodes which have been deleted from the device.

  Could you please update your Pocket Casts app to the latest version 7.92.1? This includes a fix for downloads that should work for you.

  Please let us know if the new version resolves the issue.

  updated to 7.92.1

  I had to go to the Downloads section, select all previously played episodes and manually remove the downloads. That worked.
