Multiple Podcasts Not Updating Starting 6/6/24

  Multiple podcast feeds ceased updating today apparently in the afternoon. It has mostly impacted newscasts, most with more than one post a day.

  I tested Pocketcast on both Android and Apple and connecting via WiFi and cellular data and the feeds fail consistently. I’ve confirmed these feeds are still updating via other apps and looking at the code in a browser.

  My examples are below, but these are not all of them.
  I encourage other users to add more.
  
  Example 1: NPR News Now.

  Last updated at Noon ET.

  Example 2: CBC The World This Hour
  https://www.cbc.ca/podcasting/includes/hourlynews.xml
  Last updated at 4pm ET

  Example 3: BBC Newshour
  https://podcasts.files.bbci.co.uk/p002vsnk.rss
  Updates twice daily, last update: morning release

  Example 4: Consider This NPR
  https://feeds.npr.org/510355/podcast.xml
  Last update: Yesterday.

  Having problems with this too. So far I’ve noticed it on NPR State of the World, Today Explained, and 538 Politics Podcast. Each of these should have updated this afternoon, and show updates on other feeds.

  having the same issue with about a dozen podcasts. Frustrating but tech stuff happens.

  Thank you all for reaching out! We were making some changes around that time to how our app gets updates for podcasts, that, unfortunately, made things slower, the opposite of our goals. We have since undone those changes.
