I switched to Antennapod! The first one I found with no “pride” bullshit in it. I used it before I switched to Pocket Casts in 2018.

Just a quick note to let you know that I was so close to upgrading to your +Plus version when I noticed that you’ve succumbed to the woke crowd by virtue signaling with your rainbow icon. Good luck with your Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and ESG scores, but more and more of us don’t want to have anything more to do with companies like yours that fall in line with this crap. Pocket Casts will now be included on a list of companies to avoid by a growing number of people who have just had enough. You really should just do your job and provide a decent product for your customers and stop pushing political agendas.

Came here with the same frustration after receiving an automated response when I tried to raise it directly to the app dev. I would encourage frustrated users to voice their disappointment by rating/reviewing the app on the App Store so others can see.
I recently came over to Pocket Casts after the app I used for 10 years decided to start pushing politics, so it was incredibly disappointing to have my app icon changed without consent.

Thanks for the feedback, folks. I’m closing this thread as it’s not a support request. The icon will revert to the default one at the end of June when Pride month is over. To change it before that time, you can follow the instructions here.
