New Podcasts Ignoring Auto Archive

I recently started using pocket casts full time after trying it briefly a bit ago. When tried it the first time I imported all my podcasts I was listening to at the time. After I started using it again, I setup auto archive for inactive episodes for a week. It seems to work with the podcasts I already had added but it doesn’t seem to auto archive of episodes for new podcasts. I’m wondering if this is the intended behaviour and if I can force auto archive on the new podcasts.

To clarify, auto-archiving should apply to all podcasts in your list, regardless of whether they were imported initially or added later. So, this isn’t the intended behavior.
To help us troubleshoot this, could you provide a bit more information?
- Can you confirm that the “Archive Inactive Episodes” setting is enabled globally in Profile > Settings > Auto archive?
- Could you provide the names of a couple of the newly added podcasts that aren’t auto-archiving?
- What version of the app do you have?
