Newly added episodes cut in front of already started episodes

Hey there
In the past month or two when new episodes have been added to the top of my up next playlist, they’ve started to cut in front of already started episodes.
I’ve been using this app for what might be the last eight years or so, but this has never happened before. Usually, new episodes that have been added to the top of my up next playlist have been added just below the episode that I’m already playing. Has there been any updates recently there might have affected this?

Which version exactly are you running please, in case you might be part of our beta program? You can check your app version from Profile > Settings (gear icon) > About.
In addition, to confirm, in Profile > Settings (gear icon) > Auto add to Up Next, it looks like you have the “Auto Add To” positions set to “Top.” Is my understanding correct?
Are the new episodes getting added in front of the episode you’re currently playing/have paused? So, effectively, they replace what’s in the player? If you could share screenshots that help demonstrate what’s happening, that would be very helpful.
