  no. my understanding is that ads come from the podcasts themselves, not from Pocket Casts. so it wouldn’t be a thing the app could offer.

  That’s exactly right! Ads, like all podcast episode content, are determined by the podcast creators. We respect the podcast creators rights to choose what’s in their episodes.

  @z3dqecpmpj The sponsored podcasts are shown to everyone on the Discover page, regardless of subscription status.

  We currently do not have a subscription plan to exclude them.
