Why am I forced to have this new logo?
Why is it not my choice?
Why wasn’t it implemented that you could change it if you want? That way I could have whatever logo I want all year round?
Why do I get this treatment as a lifetime member?
Can I specify a logo that everyone else can have which they don’t want?
It should be about choice. And no, changing the icon in the app doesn’t change the icon in Android Auto. The implementation is as half-arsed as the decision to make the change.
By the way, why is your twitter logo is not the new icon.

Hi, @mikeclegg! Changing the app icon has been a longtime feature of the app, so you certainly can change the icon if you wish. The instructions are in the thread @lukegferguson linked to. I’m also closing this thread as it’s not a support request.
