No Sonos search results from Pocketcasts

I use the Sonos app to listen to Pocketcasts. When I’m using the Sonos app I can see all the podcasts I’m subscribed to, and that Pocketcasts is actively linked as a service.
For over a year, when I use the search facility within Sonos, no results at all appear from Pocketcasts. It used to work perfectly – I could use Sonos to search all my linked services (including Pocketcasts) about a subject I was interested in, and Sonos would return relevant individual episodes and podcasts hosted on Pocketcasts whether I was subscribed to them or not. Sonos now draws results from every other service, and nothing at all from Pocketcasts.
My workaround is to search in the Pocketcasts app, subscribe to a podcast (even if I only want to listen to a single episode), then return to the Sonos app where I can now see it among my subscriptions and play the episode – then go back to Pocketcasts and unsubscribe when I’m done!
I asked Sonos for their input, but they weren’t able to help beyond suggesting I try removing the service and adding it again, which I have, but the problem persists.
Is there anything you can suggest? I really miss having this feature!

We’ve noticed some issues with the Sonos app integration, and we’re currently investigating them. Unfortunately, we can’t provide a specific timeline for when we’ll resolve this.
Your workaround is pretty clever, although we understand it’s a bit of a hassle. We really appreciate your understanding on this matter!
