Not delete files with archiving

    hi,

    your App is by far the best Podcast app.

    i have a problem: I archives Podcasts and the files are deletes automatic.

    can I stopp this? I like to archive series without deleting them.

    Hi there, @hg7krcrhbc! When a downloaded episode is archived, it is deleted. But, you can still see the episode listed if you tap “Show Archived”. Then the device will download it again. It also saved the play status. This is to help save storage space.
    While you can’t turn off the feature that removes the downloaded episodes, you can make some adjustments to Auto-Archive. Ensure “Played Episodes” and “Inactive Episodes” are set to “Never” if you want to prevent automatic archiving and deletion.

    Good morning, thank you very much.
    Good to know. I have subscribed to a few medical podcasts that might become current. But after a long time, you can no longer download them. I now know and no longer archive them. Thanks for the quick reply.
