Not deleting played podcast

  hello,

  I have noticed that podcasts are directly marked as played (although they have not actually been played) and are set to delete after 24 hours do not actually delete. If I actually play the podcast the behavior is as intended.

  Could you let us know what device you’re using when you find that these features aren’t working as intended? Also, what version of Pocket Casts do you have installed and what operating system version are you using?

  Hello,

  I currently have Pocket Casts installed on my iPhone 14 Pro, iPad Pro 11 and Windows 11 all with the latest OS and program (7.74.1 on iOS and 2.0.4 on Windows 11 as of today).

  Just to reiterate, this occurs only when the podcast is marked as played while not actually being played. If the podcast plays and finishes on the device everything is fine.

  Sorry the windows version should be Web Player Version 4.5.4 – Desktop Version 2.0.4. (Windows)

  Just to reiterate, this occurs only when the podcast is marked as played while not actually being played.

  Does this happen on all the devices you have the Pocket Casts app installed on, or is it only on a specific device?

  Can you also please check on the Pocket Casts app > Profile > Settings > Auto Archive > Inactive Episodes > and what is currently set there?
