Notification art not updating [Android]

Several of the podcasts I listen to changed their name and artwork several months ago. However, the image that shows in the notification pane and the lock screen player are still showing the old image.
In the app itself and the widget the correct image is displayed, but not the notification player.

Hi @bruzie, sorry to hear you’re experiencing an issue with the artwork not displaying correctly. Could you try the following steps to refresh the podcast artwork?
- Long-press the app icon to go to the app’s system settings.
- Force stop the app.
- Reopen the Pocket Casts app.
- Navigate to the Profile tab.
- Open the Settings (the cog icon in the upper right corner).
- Select Appearance.
- Scroll down to find Refresh all podcast artwork.
- Tap it and confirm.
The app will start downloading the artwork for all your subscribed podcasts. This process might take a little time, depending on how many podcasts you’re subscribed to, but it should typically finish within 5 minutes even if you have a couple of hundred subscriptions.
After completing these steps, check if the correct artwork is displayed in the notification area. Let us know if this resolves the issue!

Hi,
I had tried the Refresh all podcast artwork before without success, but hadn’t done it after force-stopping the app. However, even after following the steps above it still showed the old images in the notification.
But when I cleared the cache after force-stopping and then refreshed, it appears that it has successfully fixed the issue, including toggling “use episode artwork”.
