NPR Plus Feeds Stopped Working

Pocket Casts app version: 7.81.0.3 on iOS 18.3.1
Since yesterday morning, none of my NPR Plus subscriptions have loaded new episodes, including Up First, Consider This, Short Wave, Politics, Fresh Air and more. None of them show new episodes, but I’ve confirmed new episodes are available in the NPR app.
As a test, I tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to Up First Plus, but that didn’t change anything.
Please note that this has been an intermittent problem, where every once in a while new NPR+ episodes appear on a substantial delay in Pocket Casts as compared to other players. However, I’ve never seen a delay this long. Also, I have not seen this problem with other (non-NPR) podocasts.

I am also experiencing this issue. I did get today’s Up First+ episode several hours late, but still nothing for today’s episodes of The Indicator+, Shortwave+, and others. I am using Android 15.

Me too! I use an iphone 15. Have not gotten anything since yesterday – no Tues Consider This or NPR politics, and no Up First or Code Switch for Wed. Tried unsubscribing and resubscribing – no good. I’m going to stop troubleshooting since it looks like a wider problem (with pocket casts or NPR plus?), but I hope to hear a solution soon! I tried subscribing to regular Up First (not plus) and that worked. So I’ll listen to ads for now – ugh.

I’ve looked at the raw RSS feed for Up First and Consider This, for NPR Plus. The latest episodes does not seem to match those published on the free version:

I did a test and reproduced this. The public feed has today’s episode, Feb 13. On my private feed, Feb 11 is the newest item. I will contact them at (email visible only to moderators and staff)

I’m having the same issue with Code Switch, Fresh Air, NPR Politics, and State of the World. Agreed that the free version is working but the Plus version is not. For Fresh Air, I’ve also checked that the Plus version is up to date on Spotify but not Pocket Casts. I submitted this to NPR, but not sure what their response time is like.

Probably a coincidence, but all my podcasts appeared in my Pocket Casts feed about an hour or so after I emailed NPR.
