Patreon feed not working

  I am having the same issue with a Patreon feed, it it not updating. Would appreciate help with solving this issue.

  why do you need to manually refresh these feeds? it’s rss. i’m also struggling with this but i’m baffled why anyone else needs to be involved in refreshing an rss feed.

  @noahtheduke When your Patreon subscription lapsed, your private RSS feed URL becomes invalid and it throws an error when we try to access it.

  After the feed errors out, it becomes disabled on our end so that our servers does not continue pinging the feed. We will need to manually reactivate the feed from our end once we confirm that the Patreon subscription feed URL becomes valid again.

  I have fixed the Patreon podcast shows that you are subscribed to. They should be updated now.

  thanks for refreshing it. why is the pocket casts app on my phone reaching out to pocket cast servers? rss is as simple as checking a link and processing some xml. it’s one to one.

  @noahtheduke Our servers checks the podcast RSS for updates and caches the information. The app does not access the RSS directly. The app checks our servers for the latest episode listing.

  Could we have you try to refresh the feed within the app? Doing this should resolve the issue now that it has been fixed.
