Patreon feed problems

  Hello!

  I’m a Patreon member of a podcast (Maintenance Phase) and since the recent Pocket Cast update every time I try to play an episode on the Patreon feed I get the following error message: “Download failed, error code forbidden. Contact the podcast author.”

  Things I’ve tried:

  1. I tried entering the podcast URL into the “Add this podcast to Pocketcast” link; it said it worked, but I’m encountering the same message.
  2. This feed still works
  3. It does not matter what internet or cell service I’m using.
  4. I’ve delete the app and re-downloaded it.
  5. I’ve unsubscribed, re-searched for the podcast, and re-added.

  Apologies, I cut off #2! This feed works in Apple Podcast.

  Hi @jenannebarr! Thanks for letting us know you’re seeing some issues with some of your private feeds. I checked on the one you mentioned and found a connection error. This usually means there is an issue with the podcast author’s server (hosting). Please contact the podcast author (creator) for more help with this. Maybe there is a different RSS feed URL you need to use.
