  First, I’ve used this app since 2018 and love everything about it.

  Second, I’m sad that they are now charging premium account for simple private feeds.

  I have waited weeks to get a private Patreon feed to populate, emailed support and was told I need to pay to have this feature.

  Can someone please verify that this is the case?

  We’re glad to hear that you’re a loyal fan of Pocket Casts!

  I’m sad that they are now charging premium account for simple private feeds.

  I have waited weeks to get a private Patreon feed to populate, emailed support and was told I need to pay to have this feature.

  I can confirm that private feeds don’t require a Pocket Casts Plus subscription. What might have happened is that the private podcast got disabled on our system in the past due to issues parsing the feed (for example, when the Patreon subscription was not active). In cases like that, we can correct the issue when you contact us.

  I think I located your ticket to us and have gone ahead to fix the issue. Please reply to your original ticket to us if the issue persists with the feed.

  P.S. – in our auto-responder, we also mention that you can reply to the email if the issue is related to a private RSS Feed.
