Patreon podcast feed not playing or downloading

The feed for a podcast feed I added from a creator’s Patreon feed is not letting me play or download episodes. But it does show current episodes.
I’ve tried removing and adding the feed back, clearing the app cache, and reinstalling the app.

Can we check if you are referring to the NaddPod show? If so, can you let us know which episodes are you having issues with?

Just following up to let you know that our development team has released an update to Pocket Casts’ servers that should address the issue you were experiencing with Patreon feeds. You can use the Refresh Episode List option within the app to resolve the playback issues within the app:

But please let us know if you’re still experiencing issues with it after the refresh!

I’m still experiencing this issue with a Patreon podcast. I did the ‘refresh episode list’ thing, but episodes older than the most recent three all show ‘download failed, error code forbidden’ when I try to download them.

New (and older) episodes are now playing for me, thank you!

I have tried the refresh episode list fix but it still isn’t working. I have a patreon membership to socially distant sports bar. The non-patreon feed seems fine.

It seems to work for me if I re-add the podcast to Pocket Casts (it shows up separately). It does suck to lose my listen history, though.

I’ve done a force refresh on what I think are the Patreon listings (the only 2 I noticed which were duplicates). Does the older one play the episodes now? Hopefully this ensures you do not lose your listening history.
