Pausing for phone calls

    I have the setting to pause for interruptions active. So I like that if I’m listening to a podcast and then get/make a call, it pauses the podcast and resumes immediately after the call.

    What I do not like is when I pause a podcast and then make a call, when I’m done with the phone call, it resumes playing the podcast. I don’t want it to do that. Is there a way to prevent just that?

    4. I also tried pausing from the car’s stereo. Same problem.

  • Thanks for the additional information. After checking further, this sounds like a bug related to the playback feature. I’ve reported this to our team so they can investigate further. We will post here with any updates.

  • @reblazer Our developers are asking for logs to help us investigate this further, especially since you’re experiencing the issue in a car. For context, there can often be issues with the car’s Bluetooth sending additional media events like play and pause to apps.

    While replicating this, I bumped into another, but seemingly related issue. I had a podcast playing, made a call, and then when I hung up, the podcast began playing (as it should have) but only for about 1-2 seconds – then it pauased on its own – when this time, it should have continued playing. The logs include thta replication, as well.
