Play a podcast episode on continuos loop ?
-
Hi Pocketcast users, I’d like to play a podcast episode on a continuous loop. For context, this would be a favourite episode of The Rest Is History, which I find totally relaxing, and gets me off to sleep. If I could play it on loop it would keep me sound asleep for hours, maybe all night. I’m not seeing this specific ability in the (iPhone) App. Many thanks.

Hi there, @portjacksonbioinformatics! Thanks for the feedback about replaying episodes. I can see how that would be helpful, especially if you could automate it. I added your vote to an existing feature request for looping episodes. Our team will take this into consideration for future app updates.

Sorry to resurrect this, but another upvote for this. I listen to foreign language learner podcasts and the ability to have an episode to repeat so you can practice listening and speaking was invaluable on my Android podcast app before I moved to iOS.

Ha. Well almost any, but my favourites are the ancient history ones, like Uruk, Babylon, Persia, Carthge. Also the anthropology ones, like Neanderthals, The Piltdown Man. the recent TRIH Club one about how early humans could create fire, in Suffolk England, 300,000 years ago. Not mad on absolutely all their stuff, eg ancient Baghdad series, Tom just droned on about the endless early Islamic sects and we learned nothing about Baghdad and how it carried forward so much knowledge from the Greeks through to Europe (via Cordoba). The multiple First World War series are great, eg. the assassination of Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo, the Fall of The Austro-Hungarian Empire in the East, which is never taught in The West. Why am I writing all this !! you hit one of my interests right on the head :=)
