Playback skips back and I miss the end of the episode.

When I am listening to an episode, about two thirds into the episode, I notice that I am listening to what I have already heard. The episode skips back a few minutes, but the progress bar (or timestamp I think) doesn’t move. Once the progress bar gets to the end, it goes to the next episode. But because of the skip back, the episode hasn’t actually finished. So it is going to the next queued episode even though there is still about 4 minutes left in the current episode. Please help!

As per our guidelines for posting, please help us out by confirming the device and OS?
If you are on iOS, it is very likely that this issue is due to Dynamic Ads – can you confirm if you are using an iOS device?
Also, does this issue still occur if you download the episode?

Android o.s. had a google pixel and now have switched to a Samsung galaxy. Will see what happens when I download.
