Playback speed too slow

  Have an option to increase the playback speed to 5x speed. I am currently listening at 3x speed and find it too slow. I love the Pocket Casts app but might switch to another podcast app that offers quicker playback speed.

  I’ve recently downloaded an extension for YT that lets me play videos back at 4x and it’s been a blessing for some longer ones that are insufferably long in 1x. I think it’d be great to have this for podcasts too! imagine the time savings!!!

  I’d like the opposite. The max is now too high when you click the playback speed and it increments by .5. Anything over 3.0 is unlistenable so I’m wasting my time clicking higher to get to the reset point.

  Maybe need an option to configure your own max speed.

  I get it! A 5x speed option would be awesome for saving time. A customizable max speed sounds like a great solution for both fast listeners and those who prefer more control. Hope they add it soon!

  A good way to calculate which playback speed is the best for you is with the help of this playback calculator. I’ve used it a few times and it works really well.
