Played episodes are not saved as In Progress

Hi @igortara4a4b3d6a3! Do you want episodes that you’ve completed to still be considered “in progress”? If so, would creating a new filter that included both “in progress” and “played” episodes help?
If that doesn’t help, I’d be curious to hear more about the difficulty this is causing you.

When you say “are not shown in In Progress”, I assume you’re referring to your “In Progress” filter. If that’s not what you mean, just let me know.
Does this happen all of the time or only some of the time? If it doesn’t always happen, have you noticed any patterns in when a played episode does or does not show up as in progress?
For example, does it only happen with certain podcasts, or with downloaded episodes, or with user files you’ve added to Pocket Casts? Also, does it happen regardless of how much of the episode you’ve listened to?
Hopefully, getting some more information about what you’re seeing will help us find the issue.

It happened for several episodes in different podcast channels already. I cannot determine the pattern. It is possible that I had started to listen those on one device and continued on another. Not sure though. In any case, the progress of how much each episode was played already is synchronized well.

Thanks for sharing the additional information with us.
The first thing to check in a case like this is whether you are subscribed to the podcasts which are not showing up. Filters require that you are subscribed to the podcast in order for them to be listed. Can you please check on that?
In addition to that, please also check if any filtering options are selected that could be causing the episodes to be excluded. For example, the release date filtering is set to “last month” by default in that filter.
If you check the above and confirm that is not the case, please keep an eye for any patterns that you notice relating to this. That should help us figure out what is causing this to happen on your end.

This was the case. It wasn’t obvious to me that tapping on the downwards arrow near the filter name would reveal additional filtering options. Setting “Release date” to “Any time” have helped.
