Playing a new track empties Up Next queue

Why this new “feature”? Pocketcasts user for several years now this new behavior of selecting a title to play and it empties the Up Next queue instead of putting it as actively playing track at the front of Up Next is really, really no gain at all. My well curated UP Next is greeting me now as a smiling void and I’m very dissatisfied your developers added this new app behavior without need.
Currently using version 7.43.1 (7.43.1.0) on iOS, 7.43 (9117) on Android and the browser version, the behavior is reproducible on all platforms. I was a happy and satisfied heavy cross-platform pocketcasts user.. up until 1 or 2 weeks ago.

Based on our recent changes to the app, this seems like it wasn’t intentional and might be a bug.

It looks like this is indeed a bug – if you’re able to provide us with a screen recording of the issue in action it would really help us dig into it further!
We haven’t been able to reproduce the issue on our side, though we have heard of it happening from time to time. If it happens consistently for you, being able to see what you see would really help us get it sorted out.
